TEACHENER Final Conference, 27 – 28 June 2019 (Gdansk)

TEACHENER Final Conference, 27 – 28 June 2019 (Gdansk)

The TEACHENER project started in September 2016 and runs until August 2019. The final conference and workshop will be held on 27-28 June 2019 at Gdansk University of Technology in Poland.

The final conference “Social Sciences and Humanities at Technical Universities” is scheduled within the framework of the TEACHENER Project in order to share the concepts and methods of teaching social sciences and humanities issues in engineering studies. The purpose of the conference is to present the results of the TEACHENER project and to enable the relevant stakeholders to discuss if, what and how technical universities teach about social sciences and humanities. The conference will disseminate the contents of the TEACHENER modules in order to enable lecturers of Master and PhD courses in European universities to integrate social sciences and humanities in energy teaching. Workshop sessions during the second day of the Conference will get its participants familiar with 8 teaching courses targeted at students and teachers from universities of technology. Together with the accompanying teaching materials, the collection of teaching courses is the main deliverable developed within the scope of the TEACHENER project.

The conference also responds to strategic developments at the European level based on the integration of SSH aspects into European research projects and the need to properly recognize SSH in the academic community.

Looking forward to welcoming you to this promising event!
